Data protection guidelines
UNITED SALON TECHNOLOGIES GMBH values the protection of personal data of clients, staff, applicants and any other third parties connected with the company. We collect, use and save your personal data solely within the framework of the conditions set out by the Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (Data Protection Act) for the Federal Republic of Germany. You can be sure that we will defend the protection of your privacy and your right to data protection at all times. The following section details the type, scope and purpose of the data collection and use.
1. Collection and processing of data
UNITED SALON TECHNOLOGIES GMBH utilizes your personal data, in general, to answer your queries as submitted via our contact form, to accept your applications or to provide you with access to special information or offers from the UNITED SALON TECHNOLOGIES GMBH.
Every access to our Internet page and every call of a file stored on this Internet page is logged for a limited period of time within the framework of legal regulations. The saving process is required for internal system-related and statistics purposes.
The following information is logged:
- Date of call,
- Volume of data transferred and the duration of the transfer,
- IP address of the querying computer,
- Browser ID
Additional personal data is only recorded if the user of the Internet page enters it voluntarily, for example, within the framework of a query.
2. Cookies
Our Internet page uses Cookies. A Cookie is a text file which is sent when an Internet page is visited and which is temporarily stored on the hard drive of the user of the page. If the server of our Internet page is again called by the user of the Internet page, the browser of the user of the Internet page sends the previously received Cookie back to the server. This procedure enables the server to evaluate the received information in many ways. Cookies can be used, for example, to make it easier to navigate an Internet page. If the user of the Internet page wishes to prevent the use of Cookies, this can be implemented locally on their computer by changing the settings of the Internet browser, the software used to open and display Internet pages (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Safari).
3. Use and transfer of personal data
If the user has made personal data available to our Internet page, we will only use this information to answer any queries of the user of the Internet page and for technical administration purposes.
Personal data will only be passed on to third parties if the user of the Internet page has already consented such.
The user of the Internet page has the right to withdraw any consent given and this will be implemented in future.
Saved personal data will be deleted if the user of the Internet page withdraws their consent for the saving process, when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was saved, or when the saving process is deemed unlawful for any other legal reason.
4. Right to information
When requested in writing, we will inform the user of the Internet page about the information saved about them. The request is to be sent to the address given in the Impressum of the Internet page.
5. Analysis services
Our website uses Piwik which is a so-called web analysis service. Piwik makes use of so-called "Cookies". These are text files that are saved on your computer and which enable the analysis of the way in which you use the website. For this purpose, the utilization information generated by the Cookie (including your shortened IP address) is transferred to our server and saved for utilization analysis purposes which, in turn, helps to optimize the website. Your IP address is immediately anonymized during the process ensuring that you, the user, remain anonymous to us. The information generated by the Cookie regarding your use of this website is not transferred to third-parties. You can prevent the use of Cookies by making the appropriate setting in your browser software. However, if you do so, you may not be able to make full use of all functions of the website.
If you do not agree to the storage and evaluation of the data regarding your visot, you may refuse the storage and use at any time with a mouse-click and the following procedure. In this case, a so-called Opt-Out Cookie will be stored in your browser which means that Piwik does not receive any session data. Caution: If you delete your Cookies, this will result in the deletion of the Opt-Out Cookie also and you may need to reactivate it.
